Privacy Policy
Last updated October 3, 2026
Plugger is built to need as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no cookies and no ad trackers. This page explains the little we do handle.
Where this applies
This policy covers all of plugger.site, including Plugger Creator at plugger.site/creator. Both work the same way and are covered by everything below.
What we don’t collect
- We don’t ask for your name, email or any account details. There is nothing to sign up for.
- We don’t set cookies or store anything in your browser.
- A screenshot made with a comparison’s camera button is made in your browser and goes only where you choose (saved, copied or shared); it isn’t sent to us.
- We don’t use session recording, fingerprinting or advertising trackers, and our security settings block third-party scripts from running on the site, apart from Cloudflare’s visitor statistics script described below.
- We don’t sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined under California law (CCPA/CPRA).
What’s handled when you visit
- Server logs. Like any website, our hosting and network provider (Cloudflare) receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, including any search you type. It keeps these logs for a short period to run the service and protect it from abuse. We don’t combine them with anything else or use them to profile you.
- Abuse protection. To stop automated scraping, our servers and Cloudflare count requests per IP address over short periods and briefly block addresses that send too many. Our own count is kept in memory only and is never saved.
- Visitor statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views, which pages are popular, where visits come from (the referring site and country) and the type of device and browser. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and isn’t used to follow you across sites. It does receive the address of each page you view, which on Plugger can include a search you typed. We only look at totals, never individual visits.
- Our database holds hardware specs. It holds nothing about visitors.
Links to stores
When you click a store link (Amazon or eBay), you leave Plugger. These are affiliate links, so the store knows the visit came from Plugger and may pay us a commission; see our Affiliate Disclosure. The store, and the affiliate network it uses, may set its own cookies once you arrive. Their privacy policies apply there, not this one. We don’t send stores anything about you, and our links tell your browser to pass along only that you came from plugger.site, never the page you were on or what you searched for. Links to eBay carry the eBay Partner Network’s tracking code, a campaign number in the link itself, which tells eBay the visit came from Plugger. Nothing is set or stored on plugger.site for this; eBay and its partner network may set cookies on eBay’s own site after you click. You can block or delete those cookies in your browser’s settings at any time, and each store’s own cookie or privacy notice describes the other choices it offers. Blocking them doesn’t change what you see or pay on Plugger.
Sponsored content
Plugger doesn’t show sponsored content today. If it ever does, it will be clearly labelled and served from our own site, with no advertiser code that could track you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have rights to access or delete personal information about you. Since we don’t keep accounts or profiles, we usually hold nothing that identifies you, but you’re welcome to ask at support@plugger.site and we’ll answer within 30 days. Where EU or UK law applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in running and securing the site for the server logs described above.
Children
Plugger is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If we ever add something that collects more (for example an account or newsletter), we’ll say so here before it goes live.
