- Best value picks fit on a phone screen. On a phone, the home page's best value picks are now four compact tiles, two by two, with each part's price, where it's from and the number it was picked on. Tap one for the full details.
- A tidier list of parts on phones. On a phone, searching or picking a category now shows a compact list of matching parts, with each part's maker, headline spec and price (and where that price is from), instead of large cards. Tap a part to open it.

- New eBay listings show up sooner. Plugger now also checks eBay's newest listings throughout the day, so a cheaper listing that just went up can replace the one shown much sooner, after we confirm it's still for sale. Cards that sell above launch price, like the RTX 5090, can now show an eBay price when nothing cheaper is listed.

- Easier side-by-side comparisons. Picking a part in the Compare search now scrolls straight down to the comparison, and the compared part's name links to its own page. The two part names and their values now line up even when only one part has a badge, a price note or a longer name.
- More graphics cards with an eBay price. eBay listings for graphics cards are now recognised in more of the ways sellers word their titles, so fewer cards, like the RTX 5090, go without an eBay price.
- eBay prices always include shipping. eBay listings that don't say what shipping costs no longer count as a part's price, so every eBay price shown includes delivery. The Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure now also say plainly that Plugger shows no sponsored content today.
- Clearer notes on store links. The Privacy Policy now explains the tracking code in eBay links and how to block the cookies stores set after you click, and the Terms say how eBay's listings may be used. The note under Where to buy now says “No display ads” and still says store links may earn us a commission.

- Prices stay current while a page is open. Parts and results on an open page now fetch fresh prices every few minutes, and “checked X ago” keeps counting, so a tab left open never shows an old eBay price as current.
- Every price says where it's from. Prices in the compare search, comparisons and Competition now say which store they're from and how long ago they were checked, like everywhere else. While a part is open, the top search bar steps aside; the category tabs stay.
- Compare search beside the specs. On each part, the compare search now sits beside the specs on wider screens. The price chart and Graph buttons are hidden until there's price history to show, and in Where to buy each store's button sits on the left with its price lined up beside it.
- Specs first on each part. A part's page now shows its specs right under its name. Prices are in Where to buy, with each store, condition and when it was checked, and scores are in comparisons.
- Clearer prices in Where to buy. Each store's price now sits beside its button, larger, and says whether the listing is new, used or refurbished, as the store lists it.
- No more out-of-stock eBay listings. Some eBay sellers keep a listing up after it sells out. Plugger now checks with eBay that a listing can still be bought, usually before it's first shown, and keeps listings it finds sold out or out of stock off the site.
- eBay in its own box. Where to buy now shows other stores and eBay in two separate boxes, “Stores” and “On eBay”, so eBay's prices are never ranked in one list with another store's.
- Screenshot a comparison. The camera button on a comparison makes a picture of it, marked plugger.site, to share on a phone, save on a computer, or copy. Pictures leave out store prices, listings and links, and figures worked out from a store price (such as an SSD's endurance per dollar), which our store partners let us show only on Plugger, kept current. It's made in your browser; nothing is sent to us.

- Safer eBay prices. eBay listings for an empty box, an accessory (a bridge, a fan, a cooler), a laptop part, a different model, a processor locked to one maker's workstations or a card described as faulty no longer count as a part's price, and suspiciously cheap listings are left out.
- Back button works as expected. Your browser's Back button now steps back through what you viewed on Plugger (a part, a category, a search), ending at the home page you started from, Plugger or Plugger Creator, instead of leaving the site.
- Value picks that keep up with prices. The home page's value picks now update as prices change, and refresh on their own while the page is open, with a note when a pick changes and when they were last updated. A pick only changes when another part is clearly better value, so small price moves don't swap it back and forth.
- eBay listings kept current. eBay listings on Plugger are now re-checked with eBay: one that has sold or ended is removed, and the next cheapest valid listing takes its place. Every eBay price is labelled as eBay's and says how long ago it was checked, right under the price. eBay prices are only shown while current and aren't kept as price history.
- Best value used or refurbished. A second row on the home pages picks the best value at used and refurbished eBay prices, by the same rules, including discontinued parts. It's kept apart from the new picks: a used part has no maker's warranty, and a listing can sell within hours.
- Best value right now. The home pages of Plugger and Plugger Creator show the graphics card, processor, SSD and memory kit that give the most for the money today, among parts that clear a mainstream performance bar, with what the next step up costs and adds. Graphics cards and processors are picked by performance per dollar; SSDs by cost per TB; memory by performance per dollar among 32 GB+ kits on Plugger, and by cost per GB on Plugger Creator, where capacity matters most.
- Used and refurbished prices on eBay, and discontinued parts in the lists. Next to the new eBay price, parts can show the cheapest used or refurbished one (pre-owned in Excellent or Good condition, or refurbished; shipped within the US; from sellers with strong feedback; shipping included). Discontinued parts with a current eBay price now appear in the category lists, priced at the cheapest listing, leftover new stock or used, and labelled as such. Used prices never count as a new part's “from” price.
- Live eBay prices. Parts on sale now show the cheapest new eBay listing of that exact part (Buy It Now, shipped within the US, sellers with strong feedback, shipping included). Each price says when it was checked.
- Fairer processor Spec Score on Plugger Creator. Memory channels and boost clocks are now weighed more fairly. Before, a desktop chip with two channels could lose to a slower workstation chip with eight on that one spec alone.
- Ten new parts. GeForce RTX 5050; Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition, Ryzen 7 9850X3D, Ryzen 7 7700X3D, Ryzen 5 7500X3D, Ryzen 5 7500 and Ryzen 5 5500F; Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, Core Ultra 5 250K Plus and 250KF Plus, with specs, launch prices, box contents and power supply advice from the makers.
- Every part's specs rechecked. Checked against the makers' own pages and public spec tables. A few figures were corrected (launch prices, clocks, power ratings and one card's size), NVIDIA cards now show DLSS 4.5, the RX 9060 XT shows AMD's recommended power supply, and the Ryzen 7 7700 and Ryzen 9 7900 note that newer boxes come without a cooler.

- Plugger scores from specs, with plainer graphics card verdicts. On Plugger, graphics card and processor scores now come from hardware specs everywhere (list order, comparisons and Competition). Graphics card comparisons say the gap is hardware on paper, since game speed varies by maker.
- What's new, and one address for support. This page lists every change you'd notice. Questions, privacy requests and mistake reports all go to support@plugger.site.
- Comparisons: clearer winner, tidier sources. The name of the part that leads the open view is highlighted, and benchmark credits fold into one Sources line under each comparison (open it for the full details).
- Share images for comparisons. A shared comparison link now shows both parts, their Spec Scores and the one-line verdict, with the page's address printed on the image.
- Faster, more accessible list pages. Category and search pages arrive with their parts already in the page (no jump while loading), and screen readers get a heading for the list.
- How we score. A public page explaining what Plugger's scores are based on, where the benchmark results come from, how estimates are marked, and what a score can't tell you.
- Compare any two cards. Every card has a Compare pill: pick two of the same kind and their comparison opens. The first pick waits while you search for the second.
- Hardware facts in comparisons. From the makers' own specifications. Plugger: upscaling and frame generation, recommended power supply, card size, cooler in the box, built-in graphics, socket support, and whether an SSD fits a PS5. Plugger Creator: AV1 encoding, 4:2:2 10-bit HEVC decoding, and which local AI model sizes fit in VRAM.
- Creator scores from real apps. Plugger Creator's graphics card and processor scores now come from real app results (Blender and Puget Bench).
- Puget Bench results on Plugger Creator. Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects and Photoshop results from Puget Systems, cited with permission, each linking to Puget's own breakdown.
- Honest price labels. A part without a current store price is labelled with its launch MSRP, and its comparisons say “launched at” rather than “costs”.
- Real World results and Spec Score. Comparisons switch between Spec Score and, on Plugger Creator, Real World results from Blender Open Data, with a one-line verdict that only says what the numbers support.
- Store links: Amazon and eBay. Where to buy links go to Amazon and eBay, whose affiliate programs Plugger belongs to. Other stores are added once their programs approve.
