Terms of Use
Last updated October 3, 2026
These terms cover all of plugger.site, including Plugger Creator at plugger.site/creator. By using the site you agree to them. They’re written to be read, so here they are in plain words.
Information only
Plugger compares computer hardware to help you research. It isn’t professional, purchasing, engineering or financial advice. Before you buy, and especially before buying data center or server hardware, confirm specifications, compatibility, support and pricing with the manufacturer, the seller or your system vendor.
Accuracy
- Specifications come from manufacturers and other public sources. We check them, but mistakes and later changes happen.
- Compatibility labels (socket, slot, form factor, memory type) are a quick guide, not a guarantee that parts work together. Check your motherboard's manual and support list (including BIOS version) before you buy.
- Performance scores are approximate hints, not measurements of your system. Our How we score page says what each score is based on; real results depend on your workload, software and configuration.
- Prices change constantly, and a marketplace listing can sell between our checks. The price at the store’s checkout is the one that counts. See our Affiliate Disclosure for how prices work.
Stores and other websites
Plugger doesn’t sell anything. Links to stores and other websites take you to services we don’t control; any purchase is between you and that seller, under their terms, prices, warranties and return policies. On marketplaces such as eBay, the seller is an independent business or person, not the marketplace, and not Plugger. Used, refurbished and discontinued items are described by their sellers: Plugger doesn’t inspect them and can’t vouch for their condition, authenticity or working order. Some links are affiliate links; see our Affiliate Disclosure. eBay listings and prices on Plugger are shown under eBay’s API License Agreement: you may view them only on Plugger, eBay may enforce these terms directly as a third-party beneficiary, and this permission can be withdrawn at any time.
Trademarks
Product names, brands and logos such as NVIDIA, GeForce, AMD, Radeon, Ryzen, EPYC, Instinct, Intel, Core, Xeon, Arc, Samsung, Micron, Kioxia, Solidigm and SK hynix, technologies such as DLSS, FSR and XeSS, consoles such as PlayStation, software and benchmarks such as Blender, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve and Puget Bench, and store names such as Amazon and eBay, belong to their owners and are used only to identify products and where they’re sold. Apart from the affiliate programs listed in our Affiliate Disclosure, Plugger isn’t affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any of them.
Fair use of the site
- Browse, search, compare and share links as much as you like, and share screenshots of a comparison (the camera button marks them plugger.site). Screenshots leave out store prices and listings (see the Affiliate Disclosure); launch prices and scores in one are as they were when it was taken.
- Don’t try to disrupt, overload or break into the site, get around its rate limits or security, or copy its data in bulk with automated tools.
- Plugger’s design, scores and written content belong to Plugger. Short quotes with a link back are welcome.
No warranty and limits on liability
Plugger is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and may change or be unavailable at times. To the fullest extent the law allows, Plugger isn’t liable for losses that come from using the site or relying on its information, including purchasing decisions. Nothing here limits rights you have that can’t be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about Plugger or these terms will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Penobscot County, Maine, and you and Plugger agree to their jurisdiction. If you live somewhere whose consumer protection laws give you rights that can’t be waived, including the right to bring a claim where you live, nothing here takes those away.
Changes
If these terms change, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Using the site after that means you accept the new terms.
